OK...Here we go!
    First order of business is to asess the wear and tear of 65,000 miles and 32
years of age. To do that you need to open all the interior walls and ceiling to
expose the mechanicals and wiring.
    These things fair surprisingly well because they are an aircraft design and
made predominantly of aluminum and fiberglass. When they were built they
were thirty years ahead of their time so we figure when we're done, we'll have
nearly a new unit.
    The GMC is a front wheel drive vehicle with airbag suspension that glides
down the road like an expensive touring car or limo. The suspension is self
leveling on the go and the ride is really unique.
    The following pictures are us working our way down to the skin and frame
and making ready for the new interior and studio build in.
